Raja Park Beach Resort, Varkala

My stay at the hotel started a bit rocky, especially after a long drive and arriving in the middle of a downpour. The initial room I got was a letdown, but after switching to a pool-view room, things turned around. The location was fantastic, just a short stroll to the beach and lovely shops, plus the value for money was excellent, as we decided to extend our stay by an extra day.

The resort provides clean and neat accommodations with a nice pool, but there are significant downsides such as uncomfortable beds and inconsistent Wi-Fi. While the surrounding area is pleasant and offers good amenities, the lack of proper in-room facilities and noisy environments from kids and barking dogs detracts from the overall experience. I found the price to be fair, but I ultimately sought a more comfortable stay elsewhere.
